miniToggle main screen
miniToggle is an application that allows you to change easily Explorer settings in the following items:
- Show/hide hidden files
- Show/hide file extensions
- Empty the recycle bin
- Clean some Explorer tracks
- Change Windows menu position1
- Show/hide clock with seconds1
- Toggle dark mode1
- Toggle Windows context menu1
- Toggle audio mute
for Windows 10 64 bits, version 1909 or above
1 Windows 11 only

By clicking above miniToggle main screen extended, the extended screen opens.

The switches Show hidden files and Show file extensions, will respectively show or hide hidden files and file extensions when pressed.

The Empty trash switch will empty the recycle bin.

The Clean Explorer switch will clean the following items:
  • Clean recent files
  • Clean run history
  • Clean address bar history
  • Clean clipboard

The run dialog history will be cleared.

Finally, the Clean Explorer option will empty the Clipboard contents.

The Windows menu position switch allows you to toggle the position of the Windows 11 menu between the default center position and the left.

Clock with seconds allows you to display seconds on the Windows 11 clock.

Dark mode allows you to toggle between the dark and light modes, separately, for Windows or for applications.

Windows context menu switch allows you to toggle the design of the Windows 11 context menu between the new and the classic one.

Mute allows you to mute/ unmute the audio output.

Icon in system tray - the options you select in this section will be executed every time you click the system tray icon.

If you check Show hidden files, clicking the system tray icon will toggle the value between yes and no, and vice versa.
The same applies to Show file extensions.

If you check Empty trash and/or Clean Explorer, these tasks will be executed each time you click the system tray icon.

If you don't select any options, clicking the icon in the tray will display the miniToggle window.

Here you can select whether you want miniToggle to run at startup.

You can view the version you are using, and through the icons, you can navigate to the miniToggle website, visit GDZ Software's Instagram, and open the PayPal donations page to support the development of miniToggle.

You have the option to have rounded borders on the window.

In addition to being able to change the borders of the miniToggle window, by pressing the T key , you can change the skin.
